In 2019, Kees has extended his competencies in the field of corporate finance. He has finished successfully the Insead program with great recommendations of professors Gabriel Hawawini and mrs. Lily Fang. It enables KC Management & Trading Services to provide more services in interim management (as Chief Financial Officer, Audit & Risk Member and M&A/Post Merger Integration Officer), advisory and mentoring in the field of investments, carve-outs, merger & acquisitions and governance.

KC Management & Trading Services has an agreement with Whitecastle Partners. Whitecastle partners is globally active in supporting companies in a variety of industry sectors (e.g. electronics, digital technology, telecommunications etc.) with services such as mentoring, advisory board positions and investments for growth  and innovation. The family office is based in Monaco.

KC Management & Trading Services is member of the Dutch Business Council in Dubai.

Kees has been nominated as member of the Board of Advisors of MAS Services in Amsterdam. The Board is consisting of 6 members and nomination is for 5 years. MAS is an expanding family company in Amsterdam with focus on facility management in the Netherlands. Important customers are e.g. Rijksmuseum.

In 2018 the Insead module Chairing the Board has been successfully completed. The program took place at Insead Fontainebleau. With successfull completion of all modules, the diploma Insead Advanced Governance Programm has been realized.

Aon in the Netherlands has bought the insurance brokers Unirobe Meeus Group (UMG) and Industrial Insurance Office (IAK) at the end of 2017. With these acquistions Aon has become the largest insurance brokerage firm in the Netherlands. Aon is a American enterprise with its headoffice in Chicago (USA). With a team of experts,  the  integration has successfully concluded at the end of 2019. The Post-Merger Integration programm has resulted in large synergies in the company in terms of costs, revenue and staff. Furthermore a large ICT migration program has been executed to streamline over 450 applications and 8 hosting centers in the Netherlands.

In 2017, Kees van der Vleuten has followed an Advanced Strategic Management Program at Insead in France. This program focus on competitive strategy analysis in different industries such as Automotive Tyre industrie, Digital & Technology Industry as well as Sporting Goods industry. Program aims to analyze the tactics used by different companies in creating a competitive advantage.

In 2017, Kees van der Vleuten has accepted the position of Supervisory Board member in the Board of Management of MET-PRO in Waalwijk. MET-PRO is an educational organisation – based on the concepts of big picture learning in USA – who provides children (upto 18 years) with education and guidance in order to obtain a diploma for positions in logistics, health care, catering , construction etc. The nomination is for 5 years. Kees is also Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee.

In 2017, an assignment in procurement and supply chain management to support a massive transformation program at VEON in Amsterdam-Zuid, the Netherlands (former Vimpelcom) has been executed . VEON is active in over 12 countries amongst others Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan, Italy and London. As part of the Group Supply Chain Leadership team and the Central Procurement Organisation at VEON a number of cost reduction- and working capital reduction initiatives (USD 100 million) have been started and supported in order to achieve the mission of VEON to move from telecommunication towards a digital technology company (from telco to tech). In this transformation, key initiatives like SCM Control Towers, Selection of 3PL-s, Category Management, Procure-2-Pay implementation as well as the preparation of the latest Oracle Cloud Solutions ERP Suite have been executed. New organisational structure through regions in the procurement department for supply chain solutions have been installed and an overall cost savings of 20% have been identified. Overall revenue growth of 12% and EBITDA improvement of 17% has been realized.

Kees van der Vleuten has executed the position of Chief Operations Officer at Keter – an Israëli company. In this role he was in charge of the supply chain of the company i.e. customer operations, consumer services, operations, logistics and procurement.

Kees van der Vleuten gave a short interview on leadership and governance in supply chain management for Kinaxis Forum.

Kees van der Vleuten has given a presentation for the 26-th Supply Chain Forum at the Kedge Business School in Bordeaux for the Global Supply Chain Management Master Programma (ISLI). 

KC Management & Trading Services has executed a consulting assignment for the telecom sector. The project was related to the procurement  of telecom services and its suppliers.

On request of Arcadis a presentation on procurement was given by Kees van der Vleuten. Also the procuremnet manager of Elementis presented hiw views. Both presentations were related to the developments in Chemical & Pgarmaceutical sectors and afterwards  a discussion about procurement developments was taking place.

On June 26th Kees van der Vleuten gave a presentation to 120 logistics representatives from the Food- & Retail Industry.

On June 5th 2015 a seminar on “procure-to-pay (P-t-P)” activities within the field of Procurement was held in the Philips Lighting Application Center in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Kees van der Vleuten is – on request of the Insead Corporate Governance Initiative -participating as champion of the global Insead Advocate & Connect Board Search Program. In relation to the corporate governance developments, Insead like to create a “bridge” between its certified directors and the Board of Directors in companies.

A project where a board member of the Gulf Merchant Bank in Dubai (U.A.E.) is support in the realisation of the thesis for the certification for the Insead International Directors Programma. Topics relevant to this thesis are: strategy, corporate governance, value management, board dynamics etc.
